Preparing the New Year

Before you start making new plans for 2006, do some preparation. One of the best ways to prepare is to clear space and time for the new. During this week, take a couple of bags or small boxes and get rid of at least twenty items. Throw or give away what you don't like, haven't used in the past year or have in duplicate.

Then, clear a full shelf, or drawer. Completely empty. Look at it often to remind yourself of the dreams and projects you have for 2006.

To make more time for your new dreams and projects, block one evening a week in your day planner. Use a highlighter. Do it for the full year.

Then, sit down and dream.
